Stroudsburg - Edward M. Doll, 69, died suddenly Friday at his home in Stroudsburg, R.D. 3.
He was the son of the late Jonas and Ida Becker Doll of Reeders. He owned and worked his farm in Jackson Township all his life and was an outstanding farmer in Monroe County.
He was a member and trustee of Reeders Methodist Church; Jackson Township Volunteer Fire Co., Reeders; Patriotic Sons of America No. 473, Tannersville, and Junior Mechanics of Monroe County.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pearl Martin Doll, Stroudsburg, R.D.3; four brothers, Raymond and LLoyd of Stroudsburg, Harold of Reeders, and Ervin of Philadelphia.
Also three sisters; Mrs. Clyde Martin of Tannersville, Mrs. harry Oliver, Philadelphia, and Mrs. George Mease, Quakertown.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from Gantzhorn's Funeral Home, Tannersville, with Rev. Alan Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the methodist Cemetery, Reeders.
Friends and relatives may call at Gantzhorn's Sunday after 7 p.m.
The family suggests that donations may be made to the building fund of Reeders Methodist Church.
