Note: Obituary: Mrs. Tease of Stroudsburg

Stroudsburg - Mrs. Ethel I. Tease, 69, a member of the Monroe County Historical Society, died suddenly Saturday morning in her home at 1100 Chipperfield Drive, Stroudsburg.

Although she lived for 25 years in Philadelphia, Mrs. Tease spent ost of her life in Monroe County.

She was born in Reeders and was the daughter of the late Jonas and Ida Becker Doll.

Beside the Historical Society, Mrs. Tease was a membe of the Arlington Wesley Methodist Church, and its W.S.C.S. group.

She is survived by her husband, John; three sisters, Mrs Clyde Martin of Tannersville, Mrs. George Mease of Quakertown, and Mrs. harry Oliver of Philadelphia; and five brothers.

Her brothers are Raymond and LLoyd Doll of East Stroudsburg, Irvin of Philadelphia, and Edward and Harold Doll of Reeders.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the William H. Clark Funeral Home, with the Rev. harold Burkett officiating.

There will be a viewing Monday after 7 p.m. in the funeral home, and burial after the funeral service in the Laurelwood Cemetery.
